Description
A graduate of a teacher-training program first qualities for an Initial Educator Certificate based on an earned degree from an approved Educator Preparation Program from an accredited college or university, or from an approved Educator Preparation Program from a recognized foreign institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or its successors. All persons issued an educational Professional Certificate and who have not completed a three-semester credit course in Guam history or culture shall complete one such course during the first year after certification.
