Applicants with <3 years teaching experience will be issued the Initial Certificate. Latin - No exam available. Must demonstrate 18 hours of coursework above the 6-hour introductory course. ACTFL OPI, WPT Passing Score: Advanced Low

Jason Flatt Act – Educators working in a public middle or high school setting must satisfy the Jason Flatt Act requirements (two hours of training in youth suicide awareness and prevention) before the License can be renewed.
