The intern will be assigned to assist a licensed teacher or other education professional.

The intern will not replace a licensed teacher or other licensed professional.

Minimum Academic Background
In most states, teachers must have a minimum academic background for certification.
The following is required for this route:
BA Degree + Enrolled in State Approved Teacher Education Program

Prior Certification: Must NOT have Current (STATE) Certification

As of 2016, No Basic Skills Exams Required

Teacher Preparation
In most states, teachers are required to complete training in education methods through a teacher program.

Applicant must be currently enrolled in a teacher program for a minimum of 3 years.

The applicant must be recommended by their college or university.
