Temporary Authorization Route (MO)

Description

A Temporary Authorization route is for the individuals with a bachelor’s degree in a content area, who are employed by a Missouri public school district or accredited nonpublic school. A one-year Temporary Certificate can be renewed if the applicant is enrolled in a self-directed course of study for at least nine semester hours of college credit each year while working to meet the competency requirements. When requirements are completed, the individual is eligible to apply for an Initial Professional Certificate (IPC).
