Description

To qualify for a Professional Teacher certificate, an applicant must have two (2) years of teaching experience while holding a valid teacher certificate (Initial or Second Initial Teacher Certificate), complete a teacher preparation program, as well as meet the Alaska studies and Alaska multicultural coursework requirements. The Professional Teacher certificate is valid for five (5) years and is renewable.
