Adjunct Teaching License (GA)

Description

The Adjunct license must be requested by an employing Georgia school district and allows the holder to teach a specific subject in grades 6-12 for up to 50% of the school day. It is intended for individuals who have knowledge, skills, and experience in a specific profession. 

Qualifications for an Adjunct license include: a bachelor’s degree or higher (for World Languages), 2 years of experience in the field, and a professional level passing score on content assessment test, or a valid licensure in the field. Those interested in obtaining an Adjunct license must first seek employment with a Georgia school.
