Foreign Credentials Approach (Out-Of-Country) (FL)

You need to login or register to save this route.

Description

Applicants who completed academic training outside the United States must submit an original credential evaluation report written in English that includes a statement of United States degree equivalency and a breakdown of coursework into descriptive course titles and semester-hour credits. An applicant with foreign credentials typically begins the certification process by applying for a Temporary Certificate, which would allow the individual to begin teaching full-time while completing the remaining certification requirements. In addition, an applicant who is not a United States citizen should apply for the Statement of Status of Eligibility (SOE).
