Description

Graduates of state-approved teacher preparation programs are eligible to apply directly to the Professional Educator License, which may have added restrictions (or ‘stipulations’) depending on whether all license requirements have been met. The Professional Educator License must be renewed every five years. Beginning with the 2015 – 2020 renewal cycle teachers must complete 120 hours of professional development to renew regardless of the number or types of degrees held in order to renew the license.
