Traditional Certification Route (ME)

Description

Candidates applying for certification via the traditional route must hold a bachelor’s degree and should have completed a state-approved teacher preparation program. An endorsement in World Languages requires at least 24 course-hours of a world language instruction, or an Advanced level or higher on both ACTFL Oral and Written Proficiency Tests, as well as having met other testing requirements (Praxis I, II, and Principles of Learning and Teaching).
