Provisional Professional Teaching License Route (AK)

Description

Candidates who have at least three years of full-time teaching experience in languages may follow this route to teach a subject area related to his or her professional field. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and have an offer of employment to teach in an Arkansas public school as basic requirements.  The Provisional Professional Teaching License (PPTL) is issued for a three-year period. The Provisional Professional Teaching License can be converted to the standard, five-year educator license, upon meeting the requirements for the Standard Arkansas Teaching license.
