Description

Out-of-state applicants are eligible for a Certificate for Out-of-State applicants if they hold a current, valid certificate in another state, or have completed an educator preparation program approved by NCATE/TEAC/CAEP within the last two years. An out-of-state educator preparation program may be used as long as the program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). An individual may choose to complete an out-of-state non-CAEP accredited educator preparation program but would be required to get certification in the state that has approved the program. The individual can then apply to Idaho as an out-of-state applicant.
