California Prepared Certification Route (Traditional) (CA)

Description

To qualify for this route the individual must complete a commission-approved teacher preparation program along with meeting several other requirements. The preliminary credential in the California-prepared certification route is issued for a maximum of five years. Individuals who complete a professional teacher preparation program and receive a five-year preliminary credential must earn a clear credential by completing a commission-approved Teacher Induction Program.
