Alternative Certification Route: Fast-track Iowa Teacher Intern (IA)

Description

This route requires that a bachelor’s degree and content coursework has already been achieved. General pedagogy coursework is completed the first year, and an internship is secured at full salary in lieu of student teaching the second year while the remaining coursework is completed. This is a highly successful alternative route program geared toward shortage areas.
