Bachelor’s degree holders in a content area may qualify for the “Fast Track Teacher Certification Program”, designed for non-education preparation program graduates. Fast Track programs requires the participant to present evidence of successfully completing the following requirements: (1) completing an educational program aligned with Guam Professional Teacher Standards with grade point average of 2.70 or higher and (2) successfully passing Praxis I and Praxis II Principles of Learning (PL T) tests. Individuals participating in the concentrated course programs may have their student teaching or internship teaching requirements waived with evidence of two (2) years of documented and verifiable teaching experience. Teaching experience shall be scholastic in nature and include college/university, vocational, military, business sector, or any other related area.
