Description
In Iowa a foreign-educated applicant may qualify for a teaching authorization if they demonstrate the completion of a full teacher preparation program and participation in a teacher exchange program administered through the Iowa Department of Education, the US Department of Education, or the US Department of State. The International Exchange authorization is valid for 1 year. Applicants will need to meet the out-of-state application requirements if they wish to remain licensed in Iowa upon completion of the international exchange program.
