Description

The Master’s Degree Leading to First-Time Licensure program (MAT, or MEd) is a State Board approved alternative teacher licensure program of study available in most first-time licensure subject areas. Most programs allow candidates to teach under a Provisional License while enrolled. To qualify for the program the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and meet the university’s specific requirements to be admitted.
