Description

Standard teacher certification pathway leads to Class 2 Standard Teacher License or Class 1 Professional Teacher license. To qualify for a Class 2 educator license, one must complete an accredited educator preparation program or a state approved program from a regionally accredited college or university and have evidence of student teaching or a supervised teaching experience through an educator preparation program. Those who hold a master’s degree in education or in an endorsable teaching area from a regionally accredited college or university, and have a minimum of three years of teaching experience within a P-12 state accredited school system, may qualify for Class 1 Professional Teaching license.
