Description

Individuals with a doctorate degree in a content area may be issued an Initial Professional Certificate (IPC) by passing a professional assessment (Professional Knowledge: Secondary assessment). Individuals entering the teaching profession via the doctoral route are not eligible to advance to the Career Continuous Professional Certification (CCPC) but may renew the initial certificate (IPC) as often as needed.
