District-Sponsored Limited Certificate (Type W) (AK)

Description

The Type W Limited Certificate is restricted to applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree (non-education), are fluent in a foreign language, and have enrolled in a state-approved teacher preparation program. It is a one-year certificate that can be extended to up to three (3) years. Type W Limited Certificate is requested through the sponsoring Alaska School District.
