You need to login or register to save this route.

Description

Applicants who hold a license or have completed their teaching training outside of the US are eligible for an Initial or Standard Credential depending on the length of their teaching experience. Recent international graduates typically qualify for an Initial Credential, and those with 2 years or more of successful experience qualify for a Standard Credential. Applicants with degrees and studies from institutions outside of the US must submit a foreign credential evaluation report issued by an approved evaluation agency to be considered. Additional requirements include passing test scores for the applicable basic skills and subject content exam required for the teaching area of the credential, and a background check.
