This pathway involves a rigorous portfolio and oral examination process for candidates who have gained the necessary competencies, skills, and knowledge required for licensure in a specific subject area. After meeting initial requirements, this pathway allows the candidates to submit a portfolio demonstrating how they have already met the competencies for NH licensure. The license-seeker will present his or her portfolio and sit for an oral board review with three educators who hold the NH Experienced Educator License in the endorsement he or she is applying for. These three educators will determine if the requirements for licensure have been met.
